Mohegan Sun Hosting Bellator 261 Tonight,

A heavyweight title fight between Timothy Edwards (15-6) and
Valentin Moldavsky ((10-1) will headline Bellator 261 tonight, June 25. Mohegan
Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT will host the event, which will include a flyweight
fight between Liz Carmouche (15-7) and Kana Watanabe ((10-0-1).
The main event will mark the first time that Bellator has
awarded an interim heavyweight title. The current heavyweight champion, Ryan Bader (28-6),
is now competing in the organization’s Heavyweight Grand Prix.
The main card will also include;
- A featherweight bout between Daniel Weichel (40-12) and Keoni Diggs (9-0).
- A lightweight bout between Myles Jury (19-5) and Sidney Outlaw (15-4).
- A light heavyweight bout between Christian Edwards (4-0) and Simon Biyong (7-1).
The preliminary card will include;
- A lightweight bout between Suren Bak (14-1) and Bobby Lee (12-5).
- A lightweight bout between Isaiah Hokit, in his professional debut, and Corey Samuels (2-2).
- A bantamweight bout between Jaylon Bates (2-0) and Cody Matthews (1-1).
- A middleweight bout between Taylor Johnson (6-2) and Lance Wright (5-1).
- A featherweight bout between John Macapa (23-5-2) and John de Jesus (13-9).
The YouTube channels for Bellator MMA and SHOWTIME Sports as well as Pluto TV will stream the preliminary card tonight starting at 5:30 PM. SHOWTIME will air the main event starting at 9.
